STANDARDS
Never post the same photo in mulitple forums. Photo content and subjects are "prime time". Anyone can visit the board, so consider this a general audience forum. If you are in doubt of your photo content and subject(s) being suitable, please contact the administrator. Strict no nudity policy.
HOW DO I POST A PHOTO IN MY MESSAGE?
First, you have to be registered. The registration turns on the features on that allow you to post messages, photos, and reply to topics and more.
Your photos have to be on the internet and on a server. That means a personal web site, or on any online album), or on a server. Many free online galleries allow you to upload your photos from your hard drive to the online gallery or album. Once you photos are on the internet, you can start. But some online albums and galleries block links. We recommend http://www.photobucket.com and http://www.imagecave.com or linking from your personal website.
5 Easy Steps
1) OPEN YOUR INTERNET BROWSER, and go to where your photo is on the internet. Right Click over the photo and click on Properties at the bottom of the menu.
2) THE PROPERTIES DIALOGUE BOX APPEARS. With your mouse, highlight the complete Address (URL) from start to end (NOTE: can be more than one line).
PLEASE NOTE: Don't copy an Address (URL) on a thumbnail size photo in your browser. Copy the URL from the full sized photo.
THAT WAS EASY! Next....
3) GO TO THE "Sharing Photography" Forum and let's post your photo.
You've already regsitered, so Click on the "New Topic" button.
By clicking the "New Topic" button, you've opened the message composing tool.
4) PASTE THE Address (URL) you copied earlier into the message body box.
5) YOU MUST ADD "image tags" at the beginning and end of your Address (URL) with "no" spaces. Check this part very carefully!
NOTE: Always put your image tags and Address (URL) on a seperate line in your message. It keeps your photo left justified for better viewing on the board.
After this, you can add to your message, add your name or nickname.
Click "Preview" and your should see you message complete with photo. If not, check over again carefully. You can preveiw as many times as you want. When your ready, Click "Submit". When members spot a post that needs help, they usually jump right in to help.
